Spring Style Straight from the High Street

Vicki Savage, Greenwich Shopping Park’s official Fashion Guru, gives Greenwich Time readers her take on Spring’s hottest trends and gives some top tips on getting catwalk style from stunning outfits at high street prices.

Blue
From electric blue to aqua.... blue is definitely the new black this season. From bold blocks to splashes of blue, anyone can look hot in this cool colour. Strong shades of electric blue tend to suit people with darker skin tones, while lighter shades will look fabulous on ladies with fair skin.  These bright killer heels from River Island will dress up any pair of jeans for a hot night out.

Florals
Fashion goes girly this season, with floral patterns dominating the high street with plenty of outfits to suit every taste. If you’re not a massive fan of floral or paisley, try wearing patterns with bold, bright flowers and team with casual jeans for a subtle look. If your style is naturally feminine, try wearing one of the gorgeous floral tea dresses with a cute pair of heels.  I absolutely love the pattern and shape of this dress at Next.  
 
Asymmetric
Cheryl Cole and Kate Moss love asymmetric clothing, from one-shoulder tops to slash dresses, there’s something for everyone. Try teaming a one-shouldered t-shirt with jeans for an effortless look, or an asymmetric evening dress with heels and accessorise with a brooch to look like an A-lister. This red and white checked asymmetric dress from Dorothy Perkins is perfect for a day out.
