Look hot to trot this summer

Bold belts
Adding a bold belt to your outfit is an easy and instant way to update your look and there are so many fabulous belts on the high street this season. Try adding a colourful belt, like this canary yellow one from Dorothy Perkins, to a plain dress to add an element of high fashion style and glamour. .

Nautical
There’s just no escaping this trend, it finds its way back into our wardrobes year on year. Working the nautical look isn’t just about throwing together navy, white and red- it’s a lot more subtle than that. Try teaming a pair of white linen trousers with a plain navy t-shirt and accessorising this with a high-fashion anchor pendant or a nautical striped headband.  Or, if you want to just show an element of the look, you can go for a navy and white striped top, like this one from New Look.

Jewellery
Jewellery is big and bold this season. From geometric shapes to exotic and ethnic inspirations and rich colours to prominent stones and gems, it’s about making a statement. Try teaming a statement necklace, like this one from H&M with a little black dress in the evening or jeans and a t-shirt for a casual look. By keeping the outfit simple it will make the jewellery stand out.
